Born and raised in Fort Pierce,FL moved to Tennessee in 2000 to return home 9 years later. Charles is proceeded in his death by his mom Rosemary Detwiler as well as his Uncle's Gary and Larry Hefner.
He is survived by his children Charles Jr., Brittanie and Brooke Detwiler. Charles also has 3 grandchildren and 1 on the way. He has several brother's and sister's he was the God Father of 3 additional children.
Charles was a dad to many of this kids that came across his path.
He will always be remembered for his love of sports especially his Miami Hurricanes... He would love for everyone to know there was no holding call during the 2017 football season against his defense.
He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held on March 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Southside Christian Church, Fort Pierce.
