Charles E. (Chuck) Hendrick

Charles (Chuck) E. Hendrick, 79, died October 10, 2005 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Hendrick was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1973 coming from Charlotte.
Chuck worked for the Ft. Pierce Tribune for 20 years and was an active member of the Indian River Presbyterian Church, Ft. Pierce.He graduated from Thomasboro High School and attended Mars Hill College and Queens College. He was a member of the Mars Hill College Band, Port St. Lucie Community Band and a member of the American Legion, Optimist Club, Charlotte, NC. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of their band.He started the Chuck Hendrick Orchestra and The Moonlighters Band.Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Shirley Hendrick of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Sandra L. Hoffman of Port St. Lucie, FL and Sherry L. Goodwin of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Jean Davis of Sebastian, FL; niece, Deb Freed of Sebastian, FL and granddaughter, Michelle L. Calandro of Ft.
