Charles Edward “Papa” Honeycutt, 64, died April 9, 2008 in Fort Pierce, Florida.Mr. Honeycutt was born in Marion, North Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1960 coming from Mars Hill, NC.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Betty Honeycutt, of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Charles Honeycutt, Jr., of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Angel King, of Ft. Pierce, FL, Tammy Honeycutt, of Ft. Pierce, FL, Tina Lasponara, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sherrie Honeycutt, of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Doris McHam, of Ft. Pierce, FL, Susie Metcalf, of Weaverville, NC; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Mae Conger; father, Mack Honeycutt; and brothers, Paul and Carl Honeycutt.Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 9-10 AM and the funeral service will follow at 10 AM in the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
