Charles Doyle Jenkins, 83, died August 25, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Perry, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce in 1950.
Doyle was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, member of Westside Baptist Church and of American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Dixie Bretherick of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Chris (Melena) Jenkins of Fort Pierce, FL and Joe (Wesla) Jenkins of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Debbie (Mitch) Jenkins Smith of Ormond Beach, FL, Denise (Benny) Jenkins Pickett of Finger, TN and Laressa Jenkins of Adamsville, TN; brothers, A.C. Jenkins and Eugene Jenkins; sisters, LouElla Ward and Charlene Swartley; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Janet Jenkins and Tina Jenkins Massey, son, Charles Doyle Jenkins, Jr., grandson, Derek Allen Picket, brothers, J.M. and Edward Jenkins and sisters, Maedella Murphy, Lena Eady, and Sarah Poppell.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Westside Baptist Church, Fort Pierce. A service will be conducted on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
