Charles M. Kennedy, 79, died April 26, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Kennedy was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Fort Pierce 9 years ago from Miami, Florida.
He retired after 29 years as Reservation Director with Pan American World Airways. He also worked 8 years as a bailiff in Miami Dade County. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army. He volunteered at the St. Lucie County Aquarium and was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
Survivors include his sons, John Michael Kennedy of Medford, MA, Charles Kennedy of New York, NY and Michael Kennedy of Coeur D’Alene, ID; brothers, John Kennedy and Richard Kennedy; sister, Kathleen Docherty; grandchildren, William, Nora, Margaret, Max, Quinn, Jack and Ronan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Kennedy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lucie County Aquarium, 420 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce, FL 34949.
Services: A memorial Mass will be held at St. Anastasia Catholic Church on June 18, 2016 at 10:30am.
