He was preceded in by his oldest son, Charles Scott Ludwig. He leaves behind his wife of 70 years, Nancy Ludwig; children, Melody Bly, John Ludwig, Lori Bernardo; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
