Charles "Chuck" Miller

Charles Edwin Miller, 81, of St Lucie West, Florida peacefully passed to the eternal side on November 4, 2021. Born in Andrews, North Carolina on August 30, 1940, Chuck was the oldest of two children born to Clarence Guy Miller and Francis Donaldson Miller. Chuck married his beloved wife of 58 years, the late Mary Miller on December 28, 1960. Chuck proudly served in the United States Navy for 13 years and continued his career in civil service for an additional 21 years.

Chuck’s love of travel and adventure gave he and Mary experiences that few will ever have. Upon retirement, Chuck and Mary began a lifetime of travels starting with sailing the Caribbean and then traveling North America by RV. Chuck and Mary made friends at every anchorage or camp site along the way for nearly 36 years of travels.

Chuck is survived by his children: Scott Miller and his partner, Ellie Taft, Michael Miller and his wife, Michele Miller; nephew, Guy Everhart and his partner, Jill Ann Ingolia; grandchildren, Lois DeMoss, Morgan Miller, and Megan Miller; and his sister, Mary Lou Everhart.

Preceded in passing by his wife of 58 years, Mary Miller and his parents, Clarence and Francis Miller.

A memorial service will be held on November 20, 2021, 10:30 welcome and memorial service at 11:00 am conducted by Ames Pittman reception to follow at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center located on 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St Lucie Florida, 34984.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in Chuck’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607. Please note in the memo the funds are to be used for the Shriner Children’s Hospital which provide medical care to children in need in memory of Charles Miller.
