Charles Franklin Richmond, Jr., 74, of Ft. Pierce, Florida passed away on May 13, 2021. Charlie was born May 1, 1947 in Richmond, Illinois. He was the son of the late Charles Franklin Richmond, Sr. and Marjorie Mary Krupnow. An Army Veteran, honorably discharged in November of 1967, Private 1st Class E-3, stationed in Italy & Germany. A retired State of Connecticut DOT Maintenance Mechanic.
Charlie loved many things throughout his life to name a few, motorcycles, off roading in his Jeep, fishing, traveling, photography. But most of all he loved his family and spending time with his many grandchildren.
To cherish his memory he leaves a wife; Patricia Richmond of Fort Pierce, Florida, two brothers; Dennis (Shelley) Krupnow of Romulus, Michigan and Donald (Missy) Richmond of Zion, Illinois, one sister Leona Van Housen of Washington, three daughters; Tabitha (Will) Paul and Jessica (Danny) Hernandez of Naugatuck, Connecticut, Tiffany (Obe) Gadea of Port St. Lucie, Florida, two Sons; Timothy & Terry Richmond of Hillsdale, Michigan, one step-daughter; Tracie (Nick) Crispino of Port St. Lucie, Florida and one step-son; Steve (Jennifer) Holt of Ft. Pierce, Florida, twenty + grandchildren; eight + great grandchildren.
In addition to Charlie’s passing, he was preceded in death by his parents; Charles Richmond Sr., Marjorie Krupnow and Fred Krupnow, his wife; Melodye Anne Richmond, two brothers; Glen Friends-Richmond and Matt Friends, as well as one sister; Pamela Bell.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Fairlawn Church, 3003 Rhode Island Ave, Fort Pierce, FL 34947.
