Charles Roger Jackson

Mr. Jackson was born in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey and moved to Florida 36 years ago coming from New Jersey.Prior to retirement in 2002, he worked for Vought Aircraft as a senior tool coordinator for 36 years.He was a volunteer for Jensen Beach Elementary, a member of Jensen Beach Optimist Club where he coached sports teams, Jensen Beach Cub Scout leader, Martin County Genealogy Society member; and an avid needle worker.Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joan Jackson of Jensen Beach, FL; sons, Gregg Jackson and wife Roz Jackson of Stuart, FL, Todd Jackson and wife Kristy Jackson of Tequesta, FL; grandchildren: Ryan, Brett, Daniel, Marissa and Brianna Jackson; father, Charles Jackson of Pompton Lakes, NJ; brother: Richard Jackson of Saylorsburg, PA; sister: Rosalyn Tracey of Pompton Lakes, NJ; he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Jackson.In Roger’s memory and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Athletic Department at Jensen Beach Elementary, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, FL 34957, for the adoption of the P.E. Classes.
