Charles R. Schmidt, 92, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was born in St. Jacob, Illinois and was a very caring and loving person that always wanted to help other people and had a love for children.
He is survived by cousins, Shirley Carey, Carol Tomlinson, Sally Miller, Joe Benefiel, Melanie Faucher, Michael Hulme, Melissa Peavy, Melynda Hulme, Robert Owens, Jennifer Michels, Jillaine Piscitelli all of Fort Pierce, Florida; Joe Benefiel of Tampa, Florida and Lora Benefiel of Jacksonville, Florida.

Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, Florida. Burial will take place at White City Cemetery immediately following the service.
