Charles “Buster” Woolley
Charles “Buster” Woolley, 84, passed away on January 6, 2022.
Mr. Woolley was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Buster graduated from Dan McCarty High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He retired from the St. Lucie County Fire Department as Battalion Chief. He was also an Ordained Deacon at Fairlawn Baptist Church. He enjoyed softball, fishing, and watching sports, especially cheering on his Florida Gators and Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Woolley; daughters, Deitra Woolley and Melissa (Thomas) Stiadle; grandsons, Storm Stiadle and Brennan Stiadle; brother, Edward “Cotton” (Mary Ann) Woolley; nephew, Harold (Freddy) Woolley, and nieces, Cindi Keefe and Kimberly Breest. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Woolley, mother, Willie Mae Johnson Woolley, brother, Aurthur James Woolley and sister, Mary Ann Flanagan.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
