Cheryl L. Asklof

Cheryl Leigh Asklof, 61, passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice March 6, 2022.

Cheryl was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on November 28, 1961. Cheryl moved to Ft. Pierce at 14, and lived with her uncle George, who she loved very much. He was her rock and mentor.

Cheryl attended high school in Ft. Pierce and went on to graduate from Ft. Pierce Beauty Academy class of 1980-1981. She also attended Indian River Community College from 1994 to 1996, where she earned an Associate of Arts and Science degree in Business Administration and Management.

Cheryl worked for Regis Hairstylist from 1984 to 1997. She was a Manager at Orange Blossom Mall and Regis in the Vero Beach Mall, until she started her own business, “Salon Bangz” in the PP Cobb building, Ft. Pierce. She owned and operated her salon from 1999 to 2022. She loved her salon and all her friends and clients. Cheryl enjoyed making people look their best.

She is survived her father, Robert Donald Asklof of Umatilla FL; brother, Robert Donald Asklof Jr of Bound Brook, NJ. Cheryl was preceded in passing by her Uncle George Asklof and her mother, Betty Jean Nelson.

A visitation will be held at Haisley Funeral Home 3015 Okeechobee Rd Ft. Pierce, FL March 16, 2022 from 6 PM to 8PM. A private burial will be held by the family at Riverview Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest next to her dear Uncle George.
God chose to take his angel home. We will miss you forever, our dear sweet friend, but we will see you again in heaven one day. We love you.
