Chester Irwin Danhart, 98, died May 10, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Danhart was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1962 coming from Colwyn, Pennsylvania.
Chester was a Cival Engineer for the State of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Harmony Masonic Lodge #52, Philadelphia, PA, Life Member of the Delaware County Fireman’s Association, and Honorary Member of the Colwyn Fire Co. Number 1.
Survivors include his companion, Mary Jane Chadwick of Ft. Pierce, FL; nephew, Donald Hendrickson of Naples, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Danhart.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 10-11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
