Chester “Chet” White, 88, died February 17, 2022 in Stuart, Florida.
Mr. White was born in New Haven, Connecticut and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Chet was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, upon discharge he worked for 45 years at Westpoint Development in Orange, Connecticut. He was a member of the Indian River Presbyterian Church, Fort Pierce and the United Church of Christ in Devon, Connecticut. He was the assistant scout master with Troop 71 in Milford, Connecticut for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Jean of Fort Pierce, FL, formerly of Milford, CT; daughter, Patricia (Rick) Paolini; grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Scussel, Rick (Francesca) Paolini; great-grandson, Robbie Scussel all of Northford, CT; son, Paul White; grandchildren, Justin & Michael White of East Haven, CT and great-granddaughter, Lacey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson White & Ruth Leger and his brother, Roy Leger.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Indian River Presbyterian Church.
