Christopher Jackson Griffith, 83, died October 3, 2006 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Griffith was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1955 coming from Mt. Airy.He was retired from New York Life Insurance after 42 years.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mildred Griffith of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Dan Shirley of Boca Raton, FL, Jack L. Griffith of French Camp, MS and Ron L. Griffith of Ft. Pierce, FL; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201
