Christy Carpenter Hatcher, 70, passed away on February 28, 2023 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mrs. Hatcher was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

She graduated from T. Wingate Andrews High School, in High Point, North Carolina and U.N.C. Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was a member of the Harley Owner Group and Ladies of Harley. She enjoyed kayaking, bicycling, and snow skiing.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Grant Lee Hatcher of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Carol Carpenter Kemp of Sebastian, FL; sister-in-law, Sarah Frasier of High Point, NC; nephews, John McIver Kemp of Eagle, CO and Jeremy Ford of High Point, NC; and cousin, Pat Christenbury of Belmont, NC.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill & MaryAnn Carpenter and her husband’s parents, Grant & Alice Hatcher.
