Cindy Marie McDonald, 57, was my mother. Her life is a mystery to me, though I know she was a resident and friend to many in Fort Pierce. She was taken from us on Tuesday, August 4th, 2020. I wish I could say she went peacefully into the night, but alas, her death is an unkind mystery as well, and may always be.
She leaves behind two daughters, Jasmine Nicole Ostashev and Cassandra Brooke Whitcomb, and a son, Micheal Garr. We choose to honor what lovely memories we have of her and the beautiful bond she has given us as our closure.
Cindy was adopted at a young age and lived her life loving the beaches of Florida. Salt in the air and the caw of the gull are our forever reminders of her. Life was not always gracious to Cindy, but she loved her God and was not a stranger to some of the local churches. She especially enjoyed worshiping outdoors, as her wild spirit saw fit.
Cindy was a fierce and passionate woman, and was loved by many. She was taken too soon, and will be mourned for years to come.
