Claire L. Mainville, 86, died December 29, 2017 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Mainville was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and moved to Fort Pierce in 1973 coming from Westford, Massachusetts.
Claire was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Newcomers Club in Port St. Lucie. She loved playing cards and her family and friends meant the world to her.
Survivors include her daughters, Louise (Brad) Woodward of Fort Pierce, FL and Cathy Nickerson of Dracut, MA; sons, Denis (Colleen) Mainville of New Hampton, NH, David (Karen) Mainville of Palm Bay, FL, Paul Mainville of Port St. Lucie, FL and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Mainville of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer (Philip) Hale, Michelle Butler (Brian Williams), Craig Butler, Shawna (Zach) Splain, Scott Durette, Samuel Durette, Melissa Preston, Joshua Mainville, Jacob Mainville, Lauren Mainville, Katie Nickerson (Darrell Sullivan), Sara Nickerson, and Dana Mainville; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Mainville, daughter, Susan Durette and son-in-law, Robert Nickerson.
An inurnment will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial
Gardens, Fort Pierce.
