Survivors include her daughters; Madeline A. Hodgins of Cape Coral, FL, Jacquelin Carrabus of Ridge, NY and Tracy A. McDermott of Ridge, NY; brother, Daniel Darme of NY; sister, Jean Gagilardo of Goshen, NY; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband James Johnston and sister, Carol Rodges.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 1634 “Eye” Street Suite 750, Washington, DC, 20006.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 9:15 AM at South Florida National Cemetery.
