Clarence “Pawpaw” Wilson
Clarence Wilson, 82, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at his home of 50 years.
Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Rachel Pliney Busby and Robert E. Wilson. Clarence was a man of many talents and he never liked to stay still.
Clarence was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and a Captain in the Navy Korean War on the USS Arnold J. Isabel DD869.
Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Flora “Cookie” Wilson, son, Darrell Wilson, his parents, many brothers and sisters, great grandson, Jamie Raye Gagnon and grandson, Brian Wilson.
Survived by daughter, Talissa Wilson; grandson, Eric Gagnon; great grandsons, Nathaniel Gagnon and Chandler Gagnon; granddaughter, Blythe Dube; great grandson, Aceveus Raye Dube; great granddaughter, Fenalye Ann Dube; daughter, Susan Mounts; granddaughters, Danielle Capiobianco and husband John and Denise Workman; sisters, Nellie Gardiner, Kathleen Turner, Grace Brewington and husband Bob, Vesta Watson; daughter-in-law, Kathy Wilson, grandsons, Daniel and Jr. Wilson, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:00PM with a service to follow at 1:00PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the service.
