Claris H. Fleming, 78, died February 5, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Fleming was born in Oxford, West Virginia and moved to Fort Pierce in 1965.
She worked for the school system in West Virginia for 4 years and worked for the St. Lucie County School Board for 28 years. She loved to read, travel, camp, antiques and needle work.
Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Fleming of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Mark Fleming of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Claude Hickman of Dayton, OH and George Hickman of Cincinnati, OH and sisters, Mae Lewis of Belmont, WV and Martha Caldwell of Coolville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the White City United Methodist Church, 810 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: Gathering will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 3-6 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A memorial service will be on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM at White City United Methodist Church.
