Claude Charles Borrelli, 63, passed away on February 12, 2013, with his wife Betty by his side, after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.
Mr. Borrelli was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Ft. Pierce 7 years ago from Toms River, New Jersey.
He was a musician and loved singing at parties, loved tennis and biking with Betty and traveling around the world together. His favorite day was Sunday when he would make pasta, drink wine, and gaze at the ocean. He loved his grandchildren and he will be deeply missed.
Claude started his professional career in the restaurant business and eventually transitioned to executive recruiting officer with Roth Young. Claude entered the corporate financial services industry in 1985 with American Bankers Insurance Group, eventually moving to sales where he won several national awards. Claude became VP and National Marketing Manager for their large bank business. He then became the Business Board Chairman for Emerging Markets, a business he helped form. Upon leaving American Bankers he continued his financial services career with Financial Marketing Insurance Corp. as National Sales Manager and retiring in 2012. Claude has many friends around the globe who he developed relationships with throughout his illustrious career.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Betty Borrelli of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Keith A. Borrelli of New Jersey; daughter, Laura Pirrone of New Jersey; step-son, Christian C. Perla of New Jersey; step-daughter, Jennifer Greeley of New Jersey; sisters, Elaine Borrelli of Florida and Louise Borrelli of New Jersey; grandchildren, Matthew, Keith, Peter, Colin, Christine, Mackenzie, Natalie, and Vincenza; and his first wife, Rose Lisa.
