Clifford Perkins
Clifford Perkins, 89, died February 28, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Perkins was born in Shell Creek, Tennessee and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1980 coming from Oakland, NJ.
Mr. Perkins was the Manager of Computer Systems at Cape Kennedy and was also part of the Apollo Team that put the first man on the moon. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII and Korea, former President of the Indian Hills Golf & Country Club and was a 32 degree Mason. He was an avid golfer, loved to dance and loved to listen to Blue Grass music.
Survivors include his daughter, Gail (Frank) Fink of Rochester, NY; son, Douglas (Sherry) Perkins of Ft. Pierce, FL; 9 grandchildren, Cindy Jackson, Tommy Fink, C.W. Fink, Frankie Fink, Robert Perkins, James Perkins, Travis Perkins, John Long, and Greg Long; 13 great-grandchildren; and companion, Fran Berube of Ft. Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Perkins.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 3-4 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
