Clorene Merritt Knowles, 86, died March 7, 2007 in Port St. Lucie, FL.Mrs. Knowles was born in Ambrose, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1924 coming from Ambrose.She graduated from 1938 from Florida Barber & Beauty College and was the owner of Clorene’s Beauty Shop.Survivors include her son, Bruce Knowles of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Mary Beall of North Palm Beach, FL; sister, Elsie O’Laughlin of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandson, Ryan Bruce Knowles of Ft. Pierce, FL.
