Clyde Cecil Thompson, age 83, died on December 2, 2009 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Arcadia, FL and moved here in 1946 coming from Arcadia.
He was a carpenter superintendant for General Development Corporation. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Masonic Temple.
He is survived by his son, Clyde Thompson, Jr.; his daughters, Terrie Huff and Bonnie Ergle, all of Fort Pierce, FL; his sister, Zoa Starnes of Clinton, NC; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Thompson.
