Concetta (Connie) Blandino

The matriarch of the Blandino Family, Concetta (Connie) - my beautiful wife, Mama B, Mrs. Espresso, Ma, and Nonnie - passed away peacefully in her home on January 8, 2024, in Fort Pierce, FL.

Connie, born in the Bronx, NY, on April 6, 1935, to Michele and Lena Stacquadanio, attended Christopher Columbus High School, entered the co-op program, and graduated to become a customer service representative for AT&T's lead customer division for over 10 years. She met Frank Blandino on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1963, in NYC, and they married 3 months later, celebrating over 61 years together. A mother of 4 children (Joseph, Salvatore, Adelina, and Frank Jr.) and later 8 grandchildren.

 Connie and Frank moved to Florida in 1981, co-owning Expresso Pizza, where she found her passion for making cannolis and serving customers like family for almost 40 years.

Dedicated to her family, Connie taught all to love in a simple but profound way, despite enduring heartache, losing her mother at 8 years old and two sons in 2018. 

Connie is preceded in death by her sons Joseph and Frank Jr. and brother Vincent. 

She leaves behind her loving husband Frank, her children Salvatore and Adelina,, David Lamos, Maria Blandino, her Grandchildren Michael-David, Francesco, Angela, Joseph, Connie-Louise, Nicholas, Olivia, and Salvatore, her sister Betty, nephews, niece, cousins, and many beloved friends.

She was the kindest person to all and loved so many and in turn was loved by many. Her beautiful smile was her trademark and will be missed dearly. 

The family thanks all caretakers, especially the team from Hospice of Treasure Coast. 

A visitation for Connie will be held at Haisley Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11th, from 4 PM to 7 PM with a wake at 6 PM. A mass will be held at Saint Lucie Catholic at 11 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 followed by her burial at White City Cemetery.
