Connie Goodman Chase, 77, died February 24, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Chase was born in Roanoke, Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce 34 years ago relocating from Miami Springs, Florida.
She retired after 25 years with Pan American Airlines, and also worked for the St. Lucie County School Board as the Bus Routing Supervisor for 18 years. She was a member & chaplain of the VFW Ladies Auxillary #8058, member of the Elks and of the American Legion Post #40
Survivors include her daughters, Annette (David) Van Etten of Bradenton, FL and Paula (Tony) Via of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Christina Mayhall, Guenevere Rae, David Van Etten, Jr., Aubrey Via and Catheryn Via; great-grandchildren, Taylor Mayhall, Caleb Diamond, Emerson Rae and Ily Rae. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Chase, brother, Albert Goodwin and mother & father, Roy & Pauline Goodman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 or to the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 8058, 3475 Douglas Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 9-10 AM with a service to follow at 10:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home.
