Constance "Connie" Cappello

Constance M. Cappello, 83, passed away on November 1, 2017 AM in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Connie was born and raised in New York City; where she graduated from the High School of Commerce. She met and married her husband of 41 years, Carl, in 1955. They have four children. They moved to Commack, Long Island in 1961, and then to Florida in 1977. Carl passed away in 1996. Connie is survived by her children; Vincent, Lynda, Michael, and Robert; and grandchildren; Thomas, Nicholas, and Anthony.

Connie was a gifted cook, she loved to socialize and she enjoyed having loved ones enjoyed her delicious meals. She crocheted and knitted beautiful garments and blankets. She was a homemaker, but also worked when her children were older as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk. Her wit and common sense will be sorely missed. She had a special way of comforting in times of crisis, and you knew everything would turn out all right.

God bless you Mom, such a comfort knowing you and Daddy are walking together once again on Heaven’s streets of gold.


A visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 9AM to 11Am at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34984. Burial will take place at Fernhill Memorial Gardens 1501 S Kanner Highway Stuart, Florida 34994.
