Cora Barnes Meyer, 92, died June 2, 2018 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Cora Meyer was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. She graduated from New Paltz State Teachers College, New Paltz, New York, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She moved with her family to Fort Pierce in 1961.
Cora was married to William Meyer on June 19, 1948; they were married 69 years until his death in 2017. She and her husband shared a love of flowers, the Adirondacks and world travel.
Cora was a licensed real estate broker with Prime Realty. She was an active member of the Medical Auxiliary and the Garden Club for many years, and a long-time member of Indian River Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her son, Scott.
