Cora Sembler “Coby” Sadler, 96, died in Sebastian, Florida, on January 11, 2008. She was born in Wabasso, FL and lived in Sebastian until she married. She returned to the Sebastian/Roseland area in 1972.She was a teacher. She was very active all her life in civic organizations, including President’s of PTA, Women’s League of Voters and Sebastian Historical Society. Cora was instrumental in preserving the history of this area – contributing to the publishing of two books, “Tales of Sebastian”.She is survived by daughter, Margaret Sadler Pepersack of New Orleans, LA, son, Orin W. Sadler of Tallahassee, FL, daughter, Marion Sadler Young of Bainbridge, GA, daughter, Palmyre Sadler Greenblum of Tybee Island, GA, brother, Don Sembler of Sebastian, FL, sister, Margaret “Peggy” Sembler Yelvington of Lakes Charles, LA, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Glendy Graham Sadler.Memorial contributions may be made to: VNA/Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
