He was born in Stuart, Florida and lived in Fort Pierce all his life.
Corey was a local commercial fisherman and a member of the Palm Vista Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, coaching little league baseball, and was an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
Survivors include his wife, of 10 years, Rhonda Brangan of Ft Pierce, FL; son Corey Brangan, Jr. of Ft Pierce, FL; daughter Brooke Brangan of Ft Pierce, FL; mother and stepfather Janice and Bo Milton of Ft Pierce, FL; father Kenneth Brangan of Ft Pierce, FL; brothers Jon Sickel of Port St Lucie, FL, Donald Brangan of Ft Pierce, FL, and Kenneth Brangan, Jr. of Okeechobee, FL; sister Jenna Brangan of Port St Lucie, FL; stepbrother, Bubba Milton of Tennessee; stepsister, Courtney Milton of Ft. Pierce, FL; maternal grandmother Betty Harden of Port St Lucie, FL; maternal grandfather Rupert Harden of Port St Lucie, FL; paternal grandmother Sandra Brangan of Ft Pierce, FL.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Palm Vista Church of God. A service will follow at 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
