Corey Bernard Straughter

Corey Bernard Straughter of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on March 19, 2018.

Corey was born on September 16, 1974 in Miami, Florida, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Miami Jackson Senior High School and continued his education by attending a vocational school. He was a well respected employee of Royal Green Landscape and Pest Control for the last ten years; he was also very fond of his co-workers and his boss.
In 2005, Corey moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida to be with his family.
He loved to fish, spend time with family and friends, play games and watch football. Corey had a contagious smile and a heart of gold; he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. He will be dearly missed by all of us.

Survivors include; father, Johnny Straughter, two sisters, Catherine and Virginia Straughter; his loving mother, Betty Hicks; aunts, Martha, Mattie, Peggy, and Theresa Evans, Sharon and Sandra Straughter; uncle, Clyde Evans, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28 from 1PM -2PM with a service to start at 2PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34984.
