CRAIG FROSS

Craig Fross, 86, died November 12, 2009 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Craig was born in Arkansas City, Kansas and a resident of Kansas City, Missouri for 30 years. He became a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida in 1976.

He was an ex-Marine, leaving the service to become a sales and marketing specialist and business administrator and executive.

Mr. Fross became a principal owner and President of Clearline Plastics of Alabama and later came to World of Plastics of Ft. Pierce, FL as Director of Marketing.

He was employed by IRCC in Ft. Pierce for 4 years as Coordinator of the Work Services for the Vocational Rehabilitation Department of the college and after working for 4 years as a Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch, retired in 1988.

Mr. Fross was the First President of the Treasure Coast Boxing Club and the Treasure Coast Running Club.

He was a 50-year member of A.F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge #76 in Independence, Missouri and past president of “The Men of the Church” of Indian River Presbyterian Church of Fort Pierce.

He served as President of the Village Green Merchants Association and also served as first president of the Villas of Gator Trace Homeowners Association.

He served on the City of Fort Pierce Board of Adjustment from 1995 until the present and also worked as a volunteer, reading to the blind on WQCS Radio Reading service.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Olive Fross; daughter, Anne (Tom) Walker and grandson, Bryan Frohlich of Orlando and Jeffrey Frohlich of Fort Pierce, FL.

Visitation will be Monday, November 16th from 10 to 11:00 AM followed by a Service at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors. A private entombment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
