Mr. Lewis was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1982 coming from Maryland.
He was an artist. He was a Combat Army, Battle of the Bulge & WWII Veteran. He worked for the government for 30 years as an illustrator. He is affiliated with Portraits Society of America, Treasure Coast Art Association & Orange Blossom Gallery.
He is survived by his grandchildren Shawn Lewis of Port St Lucie, Florida, Amberly Ashburn of Pikeville, Tennessee, Tyler Lewis of Fort Pierce, Florida; great-grandchildren, Cameron Ashburn of Pikeville, Tennessee, Kinsley Ashburn of Pikeville, Tennessee; brothers, Howard Lewis of Baltimore, Maryland, Norman Lewis of Tennessee, Calvin Lewis of Tillman, Maryland; sister, Charlotte Manning of Annapolis, Maryland. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lewis; son, Douglas Lewis; sister, Carolyn Cox.
