Curtis Samuel Nettles, of Port St. Lucie, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. He was 25 years old. He was born November 19, 1989 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the son of William “Bill” and Ida “Alana” Nettles.
Curtis loved fishing, hot-air ballooning, visiting the mountains of North Carolina and the Florida Keys. He was passionate about recording music and writing poetry. Curtis had a glowing smile that would warm your heart and a laugh that would fill a room.
Curtis is survived by his parents, Bill and Alana Nettles of Port St. Lucie; his paternal grandparents, Sam and Linda Nettles of Deerfield Beach, Florida; two brother’s, Michael Keirn and Tim Keirn; two nieces, Breanna Keirn and Abrielle Keirn, and one nephew Michael Keirn, Jr. Curtis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Christine McGuire.
A memorial service is being held Saturday, October 31st at 12:00pm at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center, 2041 S.W. Bayshore Blvd, Port St Lucie.
