Daisy Yndiana Jorge Concepcion, 84, of Port St. Lucie passed away at her home with her family on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Daisy was born in Dominican Republic on December 6, 1936 to Miguel Concepcion and Ana Joaquina Estrella. She completed High School in the Dominican Republic, before traveling to New York and finding employment there as a seamstress. She moved to Coral Springs, Florida with her husband, Roselio, before he found his forever home on the Treasure Coast 15 years ago.
Daisy was a devout Catholic and attended Mass regularly until her health prevented it. She loved to cook and listen to music. Here favorite artists were Elvis Presley, Carlos Vives, and Julio Iglesias. She loved to attend family gatherings, and her family and friends loved to see her. Everyone who met her immediately loved her. Her eyes and smile were captivating; however she remained a kind and humble woman.
Survivors include; 3 sisters and 1 brother; daughters, Yvelisse Jusino and her husband Thomas, Nancy Santiago, Daisy Colon, and Janna Vargas; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her beloved and devoted husband of 64 years, Roselio Jorge, and her parents, Miguel Concepcion and Ana Joaquina Estrella.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 5PM to 8PM with a Wake Service to begin at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11AM at St Lucie Catholic Church 290 SW Prima Vista Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial to follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
