Dalton D. Cannon, age 79, died on October 7, 2012 in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Grand Ridge, FL and moved to Fort Pierce 50 years ago, coming from West Palm Beach, FL.
He was a retired State Trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol. He enjoyed fishing and cooking.
He is survived by his son; Don (Rita) Cannon of Fort Pierce; daughters, Ginnie Caldwell of Plant City, FL, Patty Spears of Palm Bay, FL, Denise O’Neil of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Florence Mervyne Mitchell of Grand Ridge, FL, Mellie Jane Morris of High Springs, FL, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; Simon Deloy Cannon, mother, Ursula Durden Cannon, brother, Khyle Dariine (Tommy) Cannon.
