Daniel Lee “Danny” Anderson, 48, died February 13, 2014 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Anderson was born in Port Clinton, Ohio and moved to Fort Pierce in 1967.
He worked for the Saint Lucie Mets as Club House Manager since 2006. He graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood in 1984. He loved everything baseball, loved to fish and was known as “Nutts”.
Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Lee Anderson of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Tommy Anderson of Tennessee; step- brothers, Michael Anderson of Tennessee and Thomas Anderson, Jr. of Ohio and stepmother, Barbara Smith of Fort Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Lemunyon, brother, James Anderson, sister, Belinda Patrice Anderson, maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. P. Lemunyon, paternal grandparents, Andy & Clarece Anderson, and step-brother, Robert Whitehead.
A celebration of life will follow at the Mets Stadium at 5:00 PM.
