Daniel Earnhardt

Daniel Lee Earnhardt, age 56, died unexpectedly on June 9, 2005 in St. Petersburg, FL. Born in West Palm Beach on August 9, 1948 to Dewey and Mary Earnhardt he was a longtime resident of Fort Pierce.Danny attended local schools and graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1967. Danny attended IRCC and was a member of the Florida National Guard. For the past 10 years, Danny owned his own business and resided in St. Pete.
He was a beloved Father, son, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia and her children and grandchildren, his sons, Brian and Benjamin and Ben’s fiancé, Kim Sorenson, his parents, Dewey and Mary Earnhardt, sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Bobby Goldstein, brother John of Vero Beach, nephews, Jason Haffield, Todd Goldstein, Eric and Steven Slusser, and longtime family friend, Glen Newland. He was preceded in death by his sister, Melanie Slusser.
A memorial service will be held at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, 100 Savannah Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
