Daniel moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 2005 coming from Jamaica, New York.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Martin was a member of Masonic Lodge #712 of Pelham, New York.
Survivors include daughter, Katherine Ervin of Fairfield, Connecticut; sister, Joan Peterkins of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; grandson, Zachary Ervin of Fairfield, Connecticut; granddaughter, Laura Ervin of Fairfield, Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society; https://donate.cancer.org/index .
Visitation to be held January 10, 2016 at Haisley Funeral and Cremation Services Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida from 2:00PM to 4:00PM with the Service starting at 3:00PM.
A Memorial Service will be held in New York in the coming months.
