It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Alan Seger Jr. announces his passing after a brief illness, on May 18, 2023, at the age of 49. If you knew him, you probably knew him as “Chunk”, a nickname he was given by his father at a young age.

Dan was born in Stratford, NJ but moved to Tower Hill, NB at the age of 5. He graduated in 1991 from St. Stephen High School. Dan proudly served in the United States Navy from February 1994 to February of 2001, but his greatest achievement was being a dedicated and loving father. After the Navy, Dan moved to Milbridge, Maine, working at Hinkley Boat Company as a fabricator and carpenter. Dan had a passion for fishing, loved to play a round of golf and enjoyed listening to music while sitting by the pool hanging out with Max, his faithful canine companion, in his home in Port St. Lucie, FL, where he resided until his passing.

Dan is survived by his daughter and pride and joy, Isabella Grace; his mother Lynda (Seger) Cole and stepfather, Donald Cole; and his two sisters, Debra O’Neill (Jeff O’Neill) and Jill Provencher (Jim Provencher). “Uncle Chunk” will be fondly remembered by his nieces, Abby Woodside, Maggie Leavitt, Michaela Carson, and Jayden O’Neill; great nieces; a nephew; and a very special angel who was by his side until the end, Tara Donnelly Ackon. Dan was predeceased by his father, Daniel Alan Seger Sr.
