Daniel D. Stoll, 89, died April 5, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and moved to Fort Pierce 16 years ago coming from South Florida.
Mr. Stoll was a veteran of the United States Army and served as a Corporal in the infantry from 1943-1946. Dan attended St. Louis University and went on to the Missouri Chiropractic College where he received a doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine. He was the vice-president of a large clothing company in Manhattan, Arrow Shirts. After retirement he owned with his son, a boat detailing and maintenance company and did paralegal work. Dan was an active member and Elder at Southside Christian Church and a member of the American Legion.
He is remembered for his magnetism and charisma and amazing ability to make people feel comfortable. He had a lust for life, a compassionate nature, was kind and patriotic and loved lots of laughter. Dan was called “Dapper Dan” with an affinity for hats.
Survivors include his wife, of 29 years, Patricia Stoll of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters Debora Stoll of Boulder, CO and Dorian Rosen of Miami, FL; son Daniel Stoll, Jr. of Charleston, SC; 5 grandchildren, Cameron Stoll, Gabriel Stoll, Brooke Rosen, Clark Rosen, and Brian Rosen. He was preceded in death by his brothers Norman Stoll and John Stoll and his sister Clodene Noll.
