David L Clendenin, Msg US Army (Ret), 74, died on March 5, 2013 in Fort Pierce ,FL.
Mr. Clendenin was born in Charleston, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1983 coming from Kansas City, MO.
Mr. Clendenin, originally from Olcott, WV served 25 years of service to this country with two tours in Vietnam and multiple tours worldwide. He was awarded 2 Bronze Stars and numerous other military decorations. He earned the respect of the soldiers under his leadership by committing his life to the US Army.
Mr. Clendenin was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Clendenin, Father, Embers Clendenin and wife, Doris Clendenin.
He is survived by his son David Scot Clendenin, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sister, Shirley J. Kemplin of Batavia, OH, Brother Jerry A. Clendenin of Florence, KY, Sister Judith L. Nichols of Port St. Lucie, FL. Mr. Clendenin has three grandchildren, Christopher, Cortney and Brianna Clendenin and one great grandchild, Amiya Clendenin, all of Port St. Lucie, FL.
David Clendenin was beloved by his family and will be greatly missed. I love you dad thank you for giving me this wonderful life.
