David “Dave” R. Parker

David “Dave” R. Parker, 63, passed away peacefully January 18, 2021 under Hospice care in Fort Pierce, FL.

Dave was born on April 25, 1957 to Minnie and Robert Parker Jr. in Atlanta, GA.

He attended school in Saint Lucie County and eventually became a car salesman. He also found himself extremely talented in auto restoration and detailing, so much so that he established his own business doing just that.

Dave loved animals and rescued as many as he was able. He had a green thumb and enjoyed using it to grow many different plant species and trees, especially Palm trees. His knack for restoring and detailing automobiles turned into more than just a job, it turned into more of a hobby for him. He enjoyed detailing and shining up motor homes and Airbus’s as well.

Dave loved to travel anywhere desolate and beautiful just to enjoy nature. He would often watch the sun come up at the Jetty in Fort Pierce, FL and go fishing the entire afternoon at Jaycee Park on South Beach, also in Fort Pierce, FL.

Dave saw so much beauty in all things unpretentious and enjoyed life to its fullest.

He is survived by his sister, Joan (David) Roberts of Fort Pierce, FL; Brothers, Robert E. (Viveca) Parker III of Kentucky and John (Heather) Parker of Fort Pierce, FL; Nieces, Amy Jones and Kelley Smith; Nephew, Jonathan Parker as well as 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. Parker Jr. and Minnie Parker.
