Mr. David Eugene Swartz Sr., 71, of Fort Pierce, died, on November 02, 2009.
David was born in Alliance, Ohio, son of Charles R. & Alice Myrtle Barnhouse Swartz.
David moved to Fort Pierce, in 1962 from Albuquerque, N.M.
He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, was employed at the Port of Fort Pierce as a Ship Agent for ten years, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Vero Beach, Fl.
Memorial contributions maybe made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian St, Stuart, FL 34997.
Survivors include his wife Dalma Swartz of 31 years of Fort Pierce, Fl. sons, David Swartz Jr., of Fort Pierce, Fl., Russell Glen Swartz of Green Cove Springs, Fl. and Gary James McLeod, of Jupiter, Fl. sisters, Nancy J. Gagnon of Port St. Lucie, Fl. and Sandra L. Lewis, of Galena, Ohio, brother Charles R. Swartz of Vero Beach, Fl. six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles & Rose Divita Swartz, sisters, Norita Satterfield and Peggy Noles .and son Larry McLeod.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday November 7, 2009 at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service, Fort Pierce, FL.
