Mr. Phillips was born in Vincennes, Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce 3 years ago coming from Vero Beach.
He was an auto mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Tracy Phillips of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Angela “Nikki” Phillips of Vero Beach, FL and Katrina Phillips of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Jackie Byrer of Ft. Pierce, FL and Tommy Bland of Washington, IN; brothers, Robert Phillips of Monroe City, IN and Jerry Phillips of Plainville, IN; sisters, Sandy Devine of Vincennes, IN and Sherry Raye Fidler of Georgia; 4 grandchildren, Emma Mae White, Haily Bland, Aires Bl and and Selena Bland. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Carson; mother, Beulah Carson; father, Robert Phillips, and step-father, Thomas Carson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
