David A. Perry, 72, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at his home in Port St. Lucie.
He was born in Newark, NJ on February 8, 1945, the son of the late Victor and Mary Perry. He was 20 year resident of Port St. Lucie, coming from Ft. Lauderdale.
David was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the Air Force stationed at Hickham Air Force Base in Hawaii.
Mr. Perry was a retired police officer, starting with the Monmouth (NJ) Police Department then joining the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department in 1982. He spent 15 years with the Department, retiring in 1997.
He was a member of the F.O.P. (Fraternal Order of Police) and was a Giants and Jets fan. He also enjoyed horse racing.
David is survived by his daughter, Stephanie of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida as well as 1 brother.
Friends are invited to pay their respects at a Gathering on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 4-5PM with a Memorial Service starting at 5PM at Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
