David W. Poscich

David W. Poscich, 80, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Born in Greensburg, PA.

David became a successful engineer with a Masters Degree from MIT. He moved his family to Glastonbury, CT where he worked for Pratt and Whitney for over 30 years as a technical supervisor. Upon retirement David went to Thailand as a missionary opening a school in a remote village. He was very active in his church, teaching and serving on church boards.  David and His wife retired to Port Saint Lucie in 2010. 

David is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna J. Poscich, their daughter, Denean Pyle of Port Saint Lucie, FL, their son Douglas Poscich and his fiancé, Leigh Layden  of Rockville, RI; two step-brothers, Sam and Jim Weaver; and four grandchildren Dillon Pyle, Katheryn Kleine, Nicolas Poscich, and Camille Poscich. He was predeceased by his parents and brother. David surrounded himself with family and friends who he enjoyed taking on trips on his ski boat. He enjoyed traveling with his wife. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at Grace Emmanuel Church, 707 Kitterman Road, Port St. Lucie, FL from 10am to 11am. with a service to follow. Interment will be at White City Cemetery in Ft. Pierce, FL. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Youth Building Fund at Grace Emmanuel Church.
