David Wayne Souza, 55, died November 14, 2018 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Souza was born in Manchester, Connecticut and moved to Port St. Lucie 50 years ago.
David was a self-employed marble, stone and tile craftsman. He was awarded the Stone Craftsman of The Year Award. He traveled internationally for Marblecrafters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was an avid fisherman, boater and diver; the water was his place to be. He loved his motorcycle, his backyard and his friends and family. He was known as a perfectionist, always saying… “move over & let me show you how it’s done”.
Survivors include his wife, Patti Corey-Souza of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Jessica Souza of Renton, WA and Jaclyn (Devin) Wheaton of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Ralph Souza of New Hartford, CT; step-father, James Lydon of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Devin Wheaton II of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Cary Souza of Port St. Lucie, FL; half-sisters, Heather Souza and Brandi Rivera both of New Hartford, CT. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lydon.
