David T. Smith of Port St. Lucie died May 11, 2011. He was born in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma on April 10, 1952.
David was a graduate of Stanford University and worked as Director of Operations at Packard Roofing and Waterproofing. He enjoyed the beach and going on cruises.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie P. Smith of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, David Smith II of Columbus, GA, Dillon Smith of Anchorage, AK; daughters, Stephanie Heinen of Lawton, OK, Megan Snider of Anchorage, AK, Jamie Herrington of Plano, TX; sister, Susan Nelson of Flagstaff, AZ; brother, Ed Smith of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 North Andrews Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce.
